Rosa’s Thai Greenwich is a Thai restaurant at 16 Nelson Road, close to the Cutty Sark and Greenwich’s principal visitor attractions. Open every day for lunch and dinner, it combines a relaxed cafe atmosphere with family recipes developed by founder Saiphin Moore and ingredients sourced from Thailand.
Sharing plates include chicken satay, Thai calamari, spring rolls, prawn doughnuts and crisp aubergine, with a separate vegetable platter offering summer rolls, sweetcorn fritters and kale tempura. These smaller dishes move between sweet, sour, salty and spicy flavours and provide an easy introduction for a group.
Pad Thai is wok cooked with a sauce made using tamarind from Phetchabun, while drunken noodles, northern khao soi and fried rice explore other regional styles. Curries range from gently spiced massaman beef to red duck with pineapple and sea bass in a rich chu chi sauce, alongside basil stir fry and complete rice dishes.
Vegetarian, vegan and halal choices are available, supported by children’s dishes and a varied drinks selection. Reservations, takeaway and delivery give diners several ways to order, while the cosy central Greenwich location works equally well for a quick lunch or a relaxed meal after sightseeing.
