Sorrento Lounge is an all day cafe bar at 91A Alcester Road in Moseley. The large, bright room occupies a converted garage and was the hundredth venue opened by the Lounges group. Its informal layout and outdoor seating encourage guests to drop in for anything from breakfast to late evening drinks.
Breakfast and brunch run into a wider menu of sandwiches, burgers, salads, curries and tapas. Small plates can be combined on sharing boards, while more substantial mains cover a broad mix of familiar and globally influenced comfort food. Cakes and puddings make the venue equally useful for coffee or a shorter afternoon visit.
Separate vegan and gluten free menus provide more choice than simple substitutions, and a full children’s menu makes the Lounge practical for families. Dogs are welcome, reinforcing the easy neighbourhood atmosphere. Guests with allergies should still review the latest information and tell staff before ordering.
Coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks sit alongside beer, wine, cocktails and alcohol free alternatives. Regular food and drink offers shape quieter weekday visits without changing the walk-in friendly format. Sorrento Lounge combines the range of an all day restaurant with the flexibility of a community cafe and bar.
