The Porchester is a Young’s pub and restaurant at 88 Bishops Bridge Road in Bayswater. It combines the easy pace of a neighbourhood pub with a full dining menu, providing space for a casual drink, a working lunch or a more leisurely evening meal.
Seasonal British cooking is the focus of the kitchen. Familiar pub dishes such as fish and chips, a house burger, sausages with mash and a signature pie sit alongside salads, vegetable dishes, steaks and changing specials made with fresh ingredients.
Sunday brings traditional roasts with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and gravy, including a plant based option. Small plates, sandwiches, children’s choices and puddings make it possible to build anything from a light meal to several courses.
