Union Tavern is a neighbourhood gastropub on Lloyd Baker Street in Clerkenwell, close to Exmouth Market and within walking distance of King’s Cross. The pub retains historic features including an island bar, engraved mirrors, decorative glass and a mosaic entrance floor.
The kitchen builds its changing menus around seasonal produce and fresh British ingredients. Traditional pub cooking sits alongside dishes influenced by flavours from other parts of the world, giving regular guests familiar choices as well as changing specials.
Lunch and early dinner set menus offer a structured way to visit, while the main evening selection includes steaks, burgers, fish, vegetables and more substantial meat dishes. Sunday service centres on roast beef, chicken, pork belly and a vegetable Wellington with potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
