Swanston Brasserie is a family run restaurant at 111 Swanston Road on the southern edge of Edinburgh. It forms part of a 700 acre working farm, giving the dining room a distinctive rural setting close to the city and the Pentland Hills.
The kitchen serves breakfast and lunch throughout the week, with evening meals available on selected days. A seasonally changing menu and a focus on Scottish cooking allow the offering to respond to the time of year rather than remain fixed.
Hot drinks and scones suit a shorter daytime stop, while the main menu and children’s selection support longer meals. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free choices are available, although the precise dishes can change with the current menu.
