The Sugar Loaf is a traditional Nicholson’s pub at 65 Cannon Street in the City of London. Its wood panelled character and convenient position near Cannon Street station make it a natural meeting place for lunch, after work drinks or an informal dinner.
The food menu is rooted in British pub cooking and draws on the heritage associated with the Nicholson’s group. Substantial mains sit alongside smaller dishes and sandwiches, giving guests choices for both a complete meal and a quicker visit.
Fresh ingredients and familiar flavours keep the selection approachable, with vegetarian choices available among the pub classics. Seasonal menus add variety at different points in the year without changing the venue’s recognisable British identity.
Cask ales from specialist breweries are an important part of the bar, supported by other beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks. The combination of historic surroundings, central location and a full food offering works especially well for groups gathering in the City.
