Brigadiers is an Indian barbecue restaurant and drinking tavern in Bloomberg Arcade. Inspired by the army mess bars of India, it encourages guests to eat, drink, watch sport and socialise in a collection of lively dining rooms, bars and private spaces.
The kitchen explores Indian barbecue through tandoors, charcoal grills, rotisseries, wood ovens and traditional smokers. Original butter chicken wings, lamb ribeye kebab skewers, fried fish paos and goat tikki bun kebabs bring bold flavours to smaller plates.
Larger dishes include tandoori lamb chops, beef short rib, kid goat shoulder, grilled prawns and wood roasted sea bream. Beef shin, prawn and aubergine biryanis are supported by naan, paratha, house dal, spiced potatoes, paneer and seasonal vegetables.
Beer, whisky, cocktails on tap and large serve drinks reinforce the tavern atmosphere. Live sport, pool, card games, a covered terrace and private rooms with dedicated drinks systems make Brigadiers particularly well suited to groups and extended gatherings.
