Pho Wimbledon is a casual Vietnamese restaurant at 40 Wimbledon Hill Road, a short walk from Wimbledon station. It centres the menu on the aromatic noodle soup that gives the restaurant its name while offering enough variety for groups with different tastes.
Bowls of phở combine broth, rice noodles, herbs and a choice of toppings, with diners able to adjust the finished dish at the table. Curries, rice dishes, wok fried noodles and fresh salads provide alternatives for anyone who wants Vietnamese flavours in another form.
Summer rolls and crispy spring rolls work well for sharing before the main dishes. More than a third of the menu is vegan and nearly all of it is gluten free, while the dessert selection is entirely gluten free, making dietary choices unusually easy to navigate.
Fresh juices, beer, wine and cocktails complete the meal, and children have their own menu. The accessible, dog friendly dining room welcomes bookings while retaining some space for walk-ins, with collection and delivery also available.
