IKEA Cardiff Restaurant is the public Swedish dining area inside the IKEA store on Ferry Road in Grangetown. Its self service format allows shoppers to choose a full meal, a children’s plate or a short coffee break without leaving the store. The spacious, informal setting is designed for families as well as individuals, making it a practical pause before or after browsing the showroom.
Swedish meatballs are the familiar centrepiece, pairing savoury meat with traditional accompaniments that contrast gravy, potatoes and fruit. Plant balls provide a meat free version of the same recognisable meal, while salmon and other changing hot dishes widen the selection. Seasonal offers mean that the exact choice can vary across the year.
