The Commercial Herne Hill is a characterful neighbourhood pub opposite Herne Hill station on Railton Road. Exposed brick, warm wood and colourful details create an informal setting for local residents, families and visitors meeting for lunch, dinner or drinks.
The food menu is built around familiar British pub cooking with seasonal additions. Sharers, burgers, pies, fish dishes, salads and plant based choices cover everyday visits, while smaller portions and desserts make the pub practical for groups with different appetites.
Sunday roasts are a weekly focus, bringing together roast meats or a vegetarian alternative with potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. The menu changes with the seasons, giving regular guests new dishes while retaining the comforting classics expected from a local pub.
