Santo Remedio London Bridge is a lively Mexican asador and bar at 152 Tooley Street, close to London Bridge station, Tower Bridge and the River Thames. Its colourful dining room introduces the ingredients, cooking traditions and generous hospitality of Mexico through a modern but carefully grounded menu.

Guacamole, house salsas and queso fresco begin the meal with corn totopos, while tacos and tostadas bring pork belly, fish, crab, tuna and grilled vegetables into compact plates for sharing. Corn tortillas are prepared without gluten and carry the smoky chillies, herbs and bright acidity central to the kitchen.

The wood fire grill shapes substantial regional dishes such as whole sea bass a la talla and barbacoa marinated lamb cutlets. Slow cooked beef short rib with mole, enchiladas, black beans, roasted sweet potato, elote and plantains give a table several ways to explore sweet, savoury and spicy combinations.

Tequila and mezcal are served for sipping, in tasting flights and through a broad list of margaritas and other cocktails. Weekend brunch, tasting menus and an upstairs event space extend the restaurant beyond a standard dinner, while churros and Mexican inspired desserts offer a traditional sweet finish.
