Café Continenté is an independent cafe at 62 North End Road in West Kensington. It serves breakfast throughout the day and prepares most of its food on site, giving the broad menu a reassuringly homemade character from morning plates through to cakes and desserts.
Breakfast ranges from a full English and vegetarian breakfast to eggs Benedict, French toast, porridge and filled rolls. Free range eggs can be fried, scrambled or poached, while a build your own format lets diners put together a plate around their preferred ingredients.
Later in the day, burgers, bangers and mash, beef and ale stew, pasta and omelettes provide substantial choices. Freshly made salads, homemade soup, jacket potatoes and made to order sandwiches support lighter lunches and accommodate different appetites.
Homemade cakes, brownies, cheesecake and pastries pair naturally with coffee or tea, and beer and wine are also available. Vegetarian and vegan adjustments appear across the menu, but guests with allergies should ask staff about current recipes and shared preparation before ordering.
