Mali Vegan Thai is a small family run restaurant on Hogarth Place in Earl’s Court. It was created to share the everyday Thai dishes its owners grew up eating, using family recipes and a fully vegan approach rather than treating plant based food as an afterthought.
The restaurant connects its cooking with Thailand’s long vegan tradition and the annual Jay festival. Familiar flavours of chilli, lime, herbs, coconut, soy and aromatic spices are used across recipes that recall home kitchens, school cafeterias and meals prepared by the owners’ mothers.
Small plates include salads, grilled mushrooms and vegan interpretations of popular Thai snacks. Soups, curries, noodles and rice dishes provide more substantial choices, with tofu, mushrooms and modern meat alternatives used to recreate the texture and depth associated with classic regional recipes.
The menu moves between gentle, fragrant dishes and much hotter combinations, with clear vegan and dietary information to guide diners. Lunch, dinner, takeaway and advance reservations make Mali suitable for a quick meal or a longer visit near Earl’s Court station.
