Granary Square Brasserie is an all day restaurant at 1 Granary Square in King’s Cross. Part of The Ivy Collection, it combines a colourful contemporary dining room with a terrace beside the fountains, providing a polished but relaxed setting for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or a celebratory gathering.
Breakfast moves from pastries, fruit and yoghurt to eggs Benedict, eggs Royale, crushed avocado and buttermilk pancakes with berries. A full English breakfast brings together bacon, Cumberland sausage, eggs, potato rosti, black pudding, mushroom, tomato and beans, while a vegetarian version uses halloumi, avocado and poached eggs.
The later menu begins with dishes such as truffle arancini, zucchini fritti, smoked salmon, salt and pepper squid, seasonal salads and cheese souffle. Main courses range across fish, chicken, pasta, curry and grilled meat, with steak, seared tuna, breaded chicken escalope and vegetable based plates supported by salads, greens and triple cooked chips.
Desserts include the signature melting chocolate bombe, creme brulee, profiteroles, pavlova and frozen berries with yoghurt and white chocolate sauce. Cream tea, afternoon tea, cocktails and an extensive wine list offer other ways to visit, while set menus, group dining and a private room accommodate occasions of different sizes.
