Japes Soho is a pizza restaurant at 22–25 Dean Street in central London. Founded in 2018 by Jovana and Alex, the original Soho location began with Chicago-inspired deep-dish pizza and has since developed a style of its own.
The restaurant’s London-style pizza combines features of deep-dish, Detroit, Sicilian and grandma-style pies. A caramelised cheese edge, substantial crust and generous toppings create a richer experience than a conventional thin pizza.
Classic and house combinations include meat, vegetables and vegan alternatives, allowing diners to explore the format in different ways. Starters, sides and indulgent brownies extend the menu for groups sharing a longer meal.
The lively Soho room works for both walk-ins and reservations, with click-and-collect available as another option. Guests with allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements should confirm current dough, cheese, toppings and preparation procedures with staff before ordering.
