Marugame Udon Strand is a Japanese noodle restaurant at 449 Strand, within easy reach of Covent Garden and the West End. Its open kitchen and canteen style service keep the experience quick and informal while allowing guests to see the udon being prepared.
Udon is the focus, with thick noodles served in warming broths or alongside sauces and toppings. The simple format lets the texture of the freshly made noodles remain prominent, while beef, chicken, tofu and vegetable combinations provide choices with different levels of richness.
