Restaurant Story is Tom Sellers’ flagship restaurant, opened in 2013 as a place to express his memories and the history of British food. It received its first Michelin star five months after opening and gained a second Michelin star in 2021.
The kitchen serves an evolving tasting menu guided by British seasons and the best produce available. Guests are not presented with a menu on arrival, allowing each carefully sequenced dish to reveal its ingredients, inspiration and narrative at the table.
The main lunch and dinner experience currently comprises seven courses with snacks and treats, while a shorter five course menu is offered at lunch. Optional drinks flights and an extensive wine list give diners several ways to accompany the progression of dishes.
A meal unfolds over several hours in an intimate setting close to London Bridge, with an upstairs lounge available for an aperitif or nightcap. The restaurant also has accessible ground floor facilities and a private dining room for gatherings of up to sixteen guests.
