Sinabro is an intimate bistro at 28 Battersea Rise in London. Opened in 2014 by Yoann Chevet and Sujin Lee, the small restaurant offers fine dining in an informal setting, with an open kitchen bringing guests close to the cooking.
The menu follows the seasons and combines French technique with British produce and carefully judged Asian and North African accents. Current combinations pair heritage tomato and watermelon with anchovy and ponzu, while girolles appear with egg, duck confit, apricot and coffee.
Main courses can move from polenta cake with sweetcorn and ras el hanout to stone bass with beurre blanc or lamb with aubergine and its own jus. A tasting menu allows the whole table to follow a longer sequence, and optional wine pairing is available.
Desserts continue the restaurant’s cross-cultural approach through ingredients such as pistachio, matcha, mango, fig and Madagascar vanilla. Because the concise menu changes and uses nuts, dairy, gluten, fish and other allergens, diners should discuss the current composition with the team when booking.
