The English Rose Café is an independent cafe on Lower Grosvenor Place, a short walk from Buckingham Palace and Victoria station. Its vintage inspired setting and traditional menu offer visitors a relaxed introduction to familiar British cafe food throughout the day.
Breakfast includes a traditional full English plate as well as vegetarian and vegan versions, all made with free range eggs where appropriate. Eggs on sourdough, avocado toast, granola, porridge, croissants and a breakfast muffin provide lighter alternatives for the morning.
Traditional afternoon tea is served on a vintage tiered stand with finger sandwiches, small cakes, a homemade vanilla scone, clotted cream and jam. A children’s version and an optional glass of Prosecco make the experience adaptable for family visits and celebrations.
Lunch choices include filled sandwiches and fresh salads, followed by homemade cakes or scones for dessert. Coffee, pots of English tea, fruit drinks and sparkling refreshments support everything from a quick cafe stop to an unhurried afternoon close to central London landmarks.
