The Old Shades is a Grade II listed traditional pub on Whitehall, built in 1898 and located a short walk from Trafalgar Square. Its characterful bar and rear dining area provide a classic Westminster setting for local workers, sightseers and anyone exploring central London.
British pub cooking centres on beer battered fish and chips, homemade pies, gourmet burgers, prime steaks and seasonal specials. Sandwiches and lighter plates suit a quick lunch, while freshly prepared main dishes offer more substantial options throughout the day.
