Tre Colori is an Italian pizzeria at 19 Hackney Road, close to the meeting point of Shoreditch and Bethnal Green. The straightforward format keeps pizza at the centre of the experience while providing enough starters, baked dishes and desserts for a complete casual meal.
The pizza selection ranges from the simplicity of marinara, Margherita and buffalo mozzarella toppings to richer combinations with Sardinian sausage, spicy salami, Parma ham, gorgonzola and nduja. Folded calzone and white pizzas without tomato add further variety to the familiar round bases.
Arancini, supplì and fried dough with Parma ham bring crisp textures to the opening courses. Caprese, burrata and rocket salads offer fresher contrasts, while baked beef ragù lasagne and aubergine parmigiana provide substantial alternatives to pizza.
