LOCKES Covent Garden is a sourdough pizza and cocktail bar at 32 Great Queen Street in Holborn. Open front windows and a lively central location give it an easy, sociable atmosphere for a meal, after work drinks or an evening around the nearby West End theatres.
Chef Alessandro Parisi’s Neapolitan style sourdough pizzas are the main food attraction. Carefully developed dough and classic Italian toppings create a concise menu that includes combinations such as Diavola with San Marzano tomato, mozzarella, nduja, spicy salami and house chilli honey.
Garlic bread, olives and other snacks work well with drinks, while vegetable and cheese or meat and cheese boards are designed for sharing. Focaccia, ricotta, Parmesan, blue cheese, cured meats and marinated vegetables let a group build a broader meal around the pizzas.
Cocktails are prepared by the bar team and sit naturally beside wine, beer and a slice of pizza. Earlier in the day, Caffè LOCKES adds speciality coffee, pastries and freshly baked focaccia sandwiches, extending the venue’s role beyond its busier evening service and private parties.
