Elixis is an independent café and brunch restaurant at 123 Gloucester Road in South Kensington. Moments from the Natural History Museum, the V&A and Gloucester Road station, its relaxed, design led room works well before a museum visit or for a slower weekend brunch.
The menu combines classic British breakfast ideas with international and Eastern Mediterranean flavours. A full English sits alongside Turkish eggs, while crème brûlée French toast gives the sweet side of brunch a more indulgent signature dish.
Freshly prepared plates are supported by smoothie bowls and gluten free choices. Cold pressed juices, superfood smoothies and speciality coffee cover the daytime drinks, with natural wine and weekend cocktails available for a more leisurely visit.
Bookings are recommended at busy weekend times, although walk-ins are also welcomed when tables are free. Laptop friendly periods during quieter hours and takeaway coffee add everyday usefulness without changing Elixis’s main identity as a food focused neighbourhood café.
