The Viaduct Hanwell is a historic pub at 221 Uxbridge Road, named for the nearby Wharncliffe Viaduct. Originally built in 1737, it combines the warmth of a traditional local with family friendly dining, a large garden and a separate Stable Bar for cocktails and events.
The kitchen serves food seven days a week, using seasonal ingredients and local produce where possible. Its à la carte selection centres on comforting pub classics and family favourites, with daily chef’s specials adding variety beyond the regular menu.
Sunday brings a dedicated roast, giving the end of the week a clear food focus. The garden, patio and courtyard allow for outdoor dining in good weather, while the restaurant and cosy indoor spaces suit a more conventional lunch or dinner.
Real ale and cocktails support the pub side of the business, and the upstairs function hall hosts private parties and the longstanding Bearcat Comedy Night.
