Donnelli's Pizzeria is a family-run Italian restaurant at 17 Timber Hill in central Norwich. Set among the boutiques and bars of one of the city’s historic streets, it combines a modern, friendly dining room with a focused traditional pizza menu.
Pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven and made with ingredients selected to reflect its Neapolitan roots. Campanian flour and tomatoes sit alongside mozzarella, salami and other Italian produce, with the high heat creating a crisp edge and a tender centre.
The choices move from a cheese-free Napoli and classic margherita to combinations with prosciutto, anchovies, capers, spicy salami or roasted vegetables. White pizzas dispense with tomato and use cheese, cured meat, mushrooms and other toppings to create a richer alternative.
Small and large sizes make the restaurant suitable for a quick lunch as well as a longer evening meal, with beer, wine and soft drinks available. Vegetarian choices are built into the menu, but guests with allergies should discuss flour, dairy, nuts and shared preparation with the team.
