Kricket Canary Wharf is a modern Indian restaurant at 6 Frobisher Passage beside the North Dock. Its open kitchen and red tiled interior allow guests to watch the chefs work at the tandoor, while the menu draws on travels through India and combines regional techniques with carefully selected British produce.
Snacks and small plates encourage sharing. Tomato rasam pani puri, fried idli with mushroom and black garlic, rice papads and Goan sausage paan make lively openings. Bhel puri combines raw mango, coriander chutney and yoghurt, while samphire pakoras, recheado butter prawns, Keralan fried chicken and skirt steak pepper fry add contrasting textures and spice.
Larger dishes move from butter bean kuzhambu and grilled squash makhani to chicken mappas with curry leaf and coconut vinegar. Baked hake is paired with potato rasam, while grilled lamb chops carry black stone flower and walnut chutney. Whole sea bream and seasonal curries show how the kitchen moves between the grill, coastal flavours and aromatic sauces.
At lunch, the Kricket thali combines a chosen curry with turmeric rice, samosa, garlic dal, salad, naan, papads, chutney and raita. Masala naan, brown butter paratha and filled kulcha also support the main menu. Mango and lime kulfi or baked yoghurt provide dessert, followed by cocktails using chilli, jaggery, cardamom, rhubarb and Indian inspired infusions.
