Caphe House is an independent Vietnamese cafe at 114 Bermondsey Street. It first arrived on the street in 2009 and later returned, building its current identity around casual meals, Vietnamese coffee and a relaxed neighbourhood setting.
Phở is a central part of the menu, including a brisket and rare beef steak version served with bone broth and vegetables. Vietnamese baguettes and other light dishes offer quicker alternatives while retaining the fresh herbs, contrasting textures and bright flavours associated with the cuisine.
Coffee receives particular attention rather than serving as an afterthought. Vietnamese egg coffee combines espresso with a whipped topping of egg yolk and condensed milk, creating a rich drink that can stand alongside lunch or work as a treat in its own right.
Dine in and collection orders are joined by local delivery and a planned catering service for larger groups. The cafe’s daytime and early evening hours make it suitable for lunch, an informal dinner or a coffee stop while exploring Bermondsey Street.
