Reubens Deli & Restaurant is a kosher Jewish deli at 79 Baker Street in Marylebone. First established in 1973, it returned to the same premises in 2025 after an extensive rebuild following two fires, restoring a longstanding central London dining institution.
Salt beef and pastrami sandwiches remain defining orders, served in the generous style associated with a traditional deli. Chicken soup with lockshen and matzo balls, latkes and other familiar comfort dishes give the menu depth beyond its celebrated sandwiches.
The reopened restaurant combines those established favourites with salads, roasted vegetables and desserts such as lockshen pudding and cinnamon strudel. The result respects the venue’s history while giving diners options for a lighter or more varied meal.
Reubens operates under kosher supervision, serving lunch and dinner from Sunday to Thursday and a shorter service on Friday before closing for Saturday. Dine-in seating and click and collect make it useful for both a full meal and a quicker Baker Street stop.
