Jusu Brothers is a health focused pan Asian cafe and juice bar at 147 to 149 Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill. The plant filled interior combines concrete, wood and an open kitchen to create a calm but stylish neighbourhood space. Its seasonal menu runs from breakfast and coffee through lunch, dinner and takeaway.
Breakfast includes antioxidant fruit bowls, homemade granola, fluffy pancakes, French toast, tofu scramble and chia pots. Nuts, seeds, berries, coconut and fresh fruit bring colour and texture to these dishes. Coffee and tea sit beside juices and energy shots made from combinations of apple, citrus, ginger, beetroot, greens and tropical fruit.
Later plates draw more clearly on Japanese flavours. Vegetable gyoza, cucumber and seaweed salad, salmon tartare and plant based bites lead into teriyaki salmon, chicken or vegetable bento. Poke bowls, kale salad, chicken katsu slaw and warming noodle soup offer a choice between raw, grilled, crisp and comforting food.
Vegetarian and vegan cooking is integrated throughout the selection rather than confined to a few side dishes. Fresh juice, smoothies and speciality teas remain central, joined in the evening by sake, Japanese beer, wine and cocktails. The balance of nourishing ingredients, generous bowls and an inviting room makes Jusu Brothers useful from an early breakfast to a relaxed night out.
