Dolce VyTA is an Italian pastry counter at 21 The Market in Covent Garden, situated beside VyTA restaurant. The collaboration with pastry chef Matteo Manzotti centres on the maritozzo, a soft Roman sweet bun split and filled generously with cream. Its concise concept makes it an inviting stop for an afternoon treat, dessert or coffee while exploring the piazza.
The classic maritozzo is filled with Chantilly cream scented with Madagascan vanilla. Customers can customise it with a glaze of dark chocolate, white chocolate, pistachio or caramel, then add toppings such as chocolate pieces, pistachios, blueberries or strawberries. This simple sequence creates combinations that range from delicately creamy to particularly rich and indulgent.
Fresh juices bring a lighter contrast to the pastries. Blends use ingredients such as cucumber, mint, apple, ginger, beetroot, carrot, lemon, orange and lime. The drinks provide crisp fruit and vegetable flavours that work especially well during warmer weather, while the compact menu keeps the focus firmly on freshly prepared items.
Espresso, cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate and organic matcha latte make the counter equally suited to a quick drink. A broad tea selection includes breakfast tea, Earl Grey, green tea, jasmine, peppermint, chamomile and fruit infusions. Dolce VyTA also prepares larger maritozzo orders for events, extending its signature Roman speciality from the Covent Garden counter to private celebrations and corporate gatherings.
