North China Restaurant is a family run Chinese restaurant at 305 Uxbridge Road on the border of Acton and Ealing. A local favourite for more than forty years, it specialises in Peking cuisine and provides a welcoming setting for shared family meals, group dinners and traditional set menus.
Handmade pork dumplings, prawn and chive dumplings, sesame prawn toast, ribs and salt and pepper seafood create a varied opening selection. Soups range from wonton and hot and sour to chicken noodle, while crispy aromatic duck is served with pancakes, hoisin sauce and fresh vegetables.
The wider menu covers fish, prawns, beef, lamb, pork, chicken and duck in classic sauces and stir fries. Kung po prawns, lemon chicken, double cooked pork belly, sizzling lamb and fresh seafood show the variety, with vegetable and tofu dishes providing substantial choices of their own.
