Ajimi Japanese Restaurant is a family run Japanese venue at 116 Churchfield Road in Acton. With seating for about 25 people, it offers an intimate dining room alongside takeaway and delivery, keeping the emphasis on food prepared for a relatively small number of guests.
Sushi and sashimi are central to the menu, with salmon, tuna, sea bass, eel, scallop, octopus and yellowtail appearing across nigiri, thin rolls and sliced sets. Larger combinations let diners compare several fish and preparation styles in one order.
Special rolls add avocado, tempura prawn, sesame and sauces, while chirashi and other rice bowls turn raw or seared seafood into a substantial main. Vegetable rolls and a dedicated maki set provide useful meat free choices rather than relying only on side dishes.
Gyoza, edamame, takoyaki and tempura broaden the hot selection, followed by dorayaki in several flavours for dessert. Japanese beer and sake accompany the food, making Ajimi suitable for a complete relaxed meal as well as a concise sushi order.
