Base Face Pizza Barnes is an independent neighbourhood pizzeria at 35A Barnes High Street. The restaurant focuses on a concise, carefully made offer, with a casual dining room and collection service for customers taking pizza home.
Its dough is fermented for at least 48 hours to produce a light, digestible base with flavour and structure. Each pizza is baked at high heat, giving the crust colour and lift while keeping the centre suited to its sauce and toppings.
Local ingredients and independent producers are a guiding part of the approach. Classic combinations sit alongside changing specials, and the kitchen is comfortable adding playful seasonal ideas while retaining the balance required of a well made pizza.
The friendly scale and straightforward format make Base Face suitable for families, couples and an easy meal with friends. Its identity rests on patient dough making, thoughtful sourcing and the confidence to let a small number of strong ingredients do the work.
