Crybaby is a lively cocktail bar and food venue at 4-6 Dean Street in Stockbridge. The relaxed, retro styled room is geared towards social visits, with comfort food served alongside cocktails, pints and music from the afternoon into the late evening.
Whole chicken wings are the signature food, with sauces ranging from classic buffalo and hickory barbecue to lemon pepper, mango habanero and herb led aji verde. The sauces provide a choice between buttery, smoky, fruity and fiery flavours, while dips and garnishes complete each serving.
Crispy cauliflower wings give meat free diners the same sauce focused format. Loaded fries, fried pickles, sides and a substantial steak sandwich extend the menu beyond wings, making it possible to assemble a full casual meal or order several plates for the table.
Weekend brunch creates a daytime reason to visit, while frozen margaritas and an inventive cocktail list define the bar later on. Regular events such as Wings Wednesday reinforce Crybaby’s sociable character and make its food part of the experience rather than a token bar snack.
