Honest Burgers Tooting is a neighbourhood burger restaurant at 72 Tooting High Street, opposite Tooting Broadway station. The relaxed dining room welcomes both bookings and walk ins, making it convenient for lunch, dinner or a meal before exploring the nearby markets.
Fresh British beef is chopped rather than finely minced, producing burgers with a steak like texture that can be served pink. Every burger comes with chips made from British potatoes, double cooked and finished with rosemary salt, so the side is treated as part of the restaurant’s core identity rather than an afterthought.
The menu includes the classic Honest burger, double smashed choices and fried chicken, alongside vegetarian and plant based alternatives. A Tooting specific special combines a choice of beef, smashed beef or fried chicken with American cheese, truffle mayonnaise, shoestring fries, honey, lettuce and pickles.
Local beer and a selection of soft drinks and shakes accompany the food, while sides and sauces allow a table to share beyond the standard burger and chips combination. Click and collect and delivery are available, but the eat in restaurant remains suited to groups, families and casual dates.
