Tinseltown Menu

Tinseltown is a family run American style diner at 96 Old Street, serving the area around Farringdon and Old Street late into the night. Established in London in 1996, the brand built its following around halal burgers and elaborate milkshakes. The menu combines diner classics with spicy sauces, loaded sides and desserts intended for a casual, energetic meal.

Handmade Angus beef burgers can be paired with American cheese, smokehouse barbecue sauce, blue cheese, mushrooms or fiery Piri sauce. Chicken burgers use a crisp, mildly spiced fillet with similar toppings, while crunch burgers stack several chicken strips into a bun. A combination burger brings beef and chicken together with onion rings, halal bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce for a particularly substantial choice.

Beef hot dogs come in classic, barbecue and spicy versions, while chicken wings and strips can be coated in handmade sauces. Wraps combine grilled or crisp chicken with salad, cheese and a choice of garlic mayonnaise, sweet chilli, Cajun, barbecue jerk or Piri sauce. Loaded fries add cheese, spring onions, jalapeños, bacon or seasoned sauces to the diner’s regular sides.

Milkshakes remain a defining part of the experience, with flavours based on Oreo cookies, chocolate bars, peanut butter, mango and banana. Waffles, cookie dough, cheesecake and churros extend the dessert menu for diners who prefer something warm or more substantial. Soft drinks and fruit mojitos provide lighter alternatives, and the late opening hours make the Old Street branch useful well beyond the usual dinner period.
