The Guinea Grill is a historic pub and steak restaurant at 30 Bruton Place in Mayfair. An inn has stood on the site since 1423, while the Grill Room opened in 1952 and retains a traditional atmosphere shaped by original features and formal silver service.
Dry aged, grass fed British beef is the restaurant’s speciality, cooked over the open grill in a choice of classic cuts. The kitchen has worked with Godfreys of Finsbury Park for almost sixty years to source meat for steaks, pies and Sunday roasts.
The pie selection is another defining part of the menu, including combinations of steak, kidney, mushroom, Guinness and oyster. Daily fish, lamb, seasonal vegetables and vegetarian dishes provide alternatives, while Sunday lunch brings roast beef, pork belly or a vegetarian gratin with Yorkshire pudding, potatoes and gravy.
Young’s ales and Guinness are served in the pub, and a substantial cellar of international wine is matched to the grill menu. Private dining rooms support business meals and celebrations. Guests with allergies or intolerances should tell the team before ordering so current ingredients and preparation can be checked.
