The Lexington is an award winning bar and live music venue on Pentonville Road in Islington. Open from daytime until late on most nights, it combines the easy character of a neighbourhood pub with an upstairs performance room that attracts established artists, emerging bands and enthusiastic audiences.
Alessio’s Pizza runs the kitchen, serving a concise selection built around carefully baked crusts and classic Italian inspired toppings. Margherita, buffalo mozzarella, four cheese and truffle mushroom pizzas sit alongside combinations featuring sausage, ham, artichokes, spicy salami and slow cooked onions.
Vegetarian and vegan pizzas are available, and a gluten free base offers another option for diners with particular requirements. Ice cream, warm chocolate cake and a folded pizza filled with chocolate and hazelnut spread provide simple desserts after a meal or before a show.
The bar is particularly known for its extensive American bourbon collection and craft beer range, supported by cask ale, wine and cocktails.
