The Sipping Room is a Drake & Morgan bar and restaurant at 16 Hertsmere Road in West India Quay. Set beside the docks near Canary Wharf, it combines a large dining area and bar with a relaxed interior and an alfresco terrace overlooking the water.
Seasonal all day menus make the venue suitable for lunch, dinner and smaller plates with drinks. The kitchen moves between approachable restaurant dishes and shareable food, while separate dessert and children’s selections help the menu work for different occasions and group sizes.
Weekend brunch offers a more leisurely daytime visit, and pre-order or set menus support larger gatherings. The spacious layout can shift from ordinary table dining to birthdays, weddings and other organised celebrations without losing the character of the former warehouse setting.
