Tortilla Russell Square is a casual Californian style Mexican restaurant on Bernard Street, moments from Russell Square station. Its position near universities, gardens and the British Museum makes it useful for a quick lunch, an easy dinner or food to take away while exploring Bloomsbury.
Every order is assembled to the guest’s preference. Burritos, naked burrito bowls, tacos and salads can be filled with rice, beans, grilled meat or plant based choices, then finished with freshly prepared salsa, vegetables, cheese, sour cream and guacamole.
Quesadillas and nachos add warm, crisp and melted options to the menu, while sides and sweet choices can turn a single main into a fuller meal. Different combinations of fillings and toppings allow diners to keep flavours mild or add chilli and sharper salsa for more heat.
Indoor and outdoor seating support eating on site, with takeaway, order ahead and delivery available for faster visits. The restaurant is cashless, serves alcoholic drinks and offers catering, giving nearby students, workers and groups several flexible ways to order.
