Viet Baguette (Pho & Grill) is a family run Vietnamese restaurant on Anglesea Road in Woolwich. The relaxed dining room focuses on straightforward home cooking, serving familiar dishes in generous combinations for lunch, dinner and casual meals with friends or family.
Pho is a central attraction, pairing aromatic broth and rice noodles with herbs, bean sprouts and a choice of meat or vegetables. Vietnamese baguettes offer a contrasting option, filling crisp bread with grilled pork, chicken, beef, tofu, pickled vegetables and fresh herbs.
Rice plates, vermicelli bowls, curries and stir fried noodles broaden the menu beyond the two house specialities. Spring rolls, summer rolls, wings and other starters suit sharing, while vegetarian and vegan selections allow mixed groups to explore the same range of herbs, spices and sauces.
Bubble teas come in fruit and milk based flavours with a choice of pearls, alongside Vietnamese coffee, tea and soft drinks. Takeaway and delivery complement the dine in service, making the restaurant useful for both a quick local order and a longer meal at its Woolwich address.
