Ahmed's Indian Cuisine is a family run restaurant on Merton Road in Wimbledon. It continues the cooking and hospitality associated with the earlier Ahmed Tandoori, offering evening table service alongside collection and delivery from the same neighbourhood premises.
Popular curry house dishes include chicken tikka masala, lamb pasanda and vindaloo, giving diners a choice from mild and creamy sauces to much hotter flavours. Murgh makhani combines chicken with mango, yoghurt and almonds, while murgh palak paneer adds spinach, tomato, peppers and cheese.
The tandoor contributes chicken tikka and other marinated grilled choices, and house dishes such as Nepali murgh pair tandoori chicken with minced meat, spices, peppers and coriander. Biryani and balti sections provide further routes through the menu for chicken, lamb and vegetable diners.
