No.35 at The Bonham is the restaurant inside The Bonham Hotel at 35 Drumsheugh Gardens in Edinburgh’s West End. Its intimate wood panelled dining room blends classical detailing, rich fabrics and contemporary touches that respect the Georgian character of the building.
The kitchen follows a European inspired approach with a distinctly Scottish accent. Local seasonal ingredients shape the menu, giving the cooking a clear connection to Scotland while allowing the chef to draw on techniques and combinations from across Europe.
Dishes such as pork tenderloin and poached Scottish salmon show the balance between robust meat cookery and carefully handled fish. The à la carte dinner menu is complemented by a market menu, allowing the restaurant to adapt its offering to the season and the produce available.
The Boozy Snoozy lunch pairs three market menu courses with wine on selected days, while dinner provides a more traditional hotel restaurant experience. The polished but cosy setting works for an unhurried meal, and guests with allergies or dietary requirements should confirm the current menu with staff when booking.
