The Bothy Murrayfield is the restaurant and pub at 18 Corstorphine Road, within the Murrayfield Hotel and close to the stadium. It combines a comfortable bar atmosphere with service from breakfast through dinner, making it useful for local meals, hotel guests and pre or post event dining.
Scottish produce runs through the menu, from Arbroath smokie Cullen skink and cured salmon to Ayrshire ham, Borders lamb and Angus beef. Familiar dishes such as fish and chips and the Bothy burger sit beside more distinctive starters, salads and seasonal kitchen specials.
Vegetable choices include mushroom bourguignon, curried neeps in puff pastry and beetroot with chickpeas, while sandwiches and lighter plates are available earlier in the day. A traditional Sunday roast, children’s menu and afternoon tea give families and groups several ways to plan a visit.
The bar offers whisky, gin, cocktails, wine and beer, and the beer garden provides outdoor seating in suitable weather. Live sport and music add to the informal character; guests with allergies should speak with a manager because the shared kitchen and bar handle all major allergens.
