Chettinad Restaurant London is a pan South Indian restaurant at 16 Percy Street in central London. Its identity is rooted in the cuisine of Chettinad in Tamil Nadu, presented in a laid back dining room where the emphasis is on honest, home style cooking rather than formality.

Dosa is one of the restaurant’s defining choices, bringing the crisp texture of a lentil and rice pancake to the table. Curries, rice dishes and Indian breads give diners several ways to build a meal, with bold spicing and the regional use of fresh curry leaves helping distinguish the food from a standard tandoori led menu.

Dishes are prepared fresh to order, and selected meals are served on banana leaves in recognition of South Indian dining traditions. The approach suits both newcomers to the cuisine and groups that want to share several contrasting dishes across the table.

A drinks menu and takeaway service accompany the main dining offer, and reservations can be made directly with the restaurant. Guests with allergies or intolerances should inform staff when ordering because the kitchen does not have dedicated areas for food free from nuts or gluten and cannot rule out cross contact.

Address: 16 Percy Street, London W1T 1DT, England
