The Delhi Brasserie is a longstanding Indian restaurant at 44 Frith Street in Soho. Open since 1985, it combines a central location near Soho Square and the surrounding theatres with a warm dining room focused on freshly prepared recipes from northern India and selected coastal regions.
Onion bhaji, pakora, kebabs and other starters provide an easy introduction to the kitchen’s aromatic spices. The tandoor brings smoke and gentle char to chicken, lamb and prawns, with mixed grills offering a generous way for groups to compare several marinades and cuts together.
Curries range from familiar mild preparations to deeper and more assertive house specialities. Lamb kata masala, chicken xacuti and seafood dishes sit alongside paneer, vegetable kofta, lentils, okra and spinach, while thali selections bring several flavours, rice and accompaniments into one structured meal.
Naan and varied rice dishes complete the savoury menu before traditional Indian sweets and liqueurs provide a finish. Wine, beer and other drinks accompany dinner, while collection and local delivery offer another way to enjoy The Delhi Brasserie’s broad selection outside the Soho dining room.
