Taste of India Euston is an independent family run restaurant at 126–130 Drummond Street. The fully licensed dining room serves food from noon until late every day, making it convenient for lunch, dinner or a meal around a journey from Euston. Its extensive menu combines established curry house favourites with tandoori cooking, seafood and regional recipes.
Starters include onion bhaji, samosa, chicken tikka, seekh kebab and mixed platters for sharing. Tandoori chicken, lamb and king prawns gain their colour and smoky flavour from the clay oven, while the mixed grill brings several marinades together. Poppadoms, chutneys and raita add crispness, sweetness and cooling contrast around these first dishes.
Butter chicken, jalfrezi, korma and robust lamb curries cover a wide range of spice and richness. House dishes can include lamb cooked on the bone, chicken with saffron, almonds and coconut, and seafood curries shaped by regional seasonings. Vegetable curries built around paneer, chickpeas, lentils, spinach, potatoes and cauliflower provide substantial alternatives.
Hyderabadi biryani layers basmati rice with chicken or lamb, while vegetable and king prawn versions extend the choice. Pilau, mushroom, garlic and egg fried rice can accompany the curries, supported by plain, garlic, chilli, cheese, keema or Peshwari naan. Lassi, beer, wine and soft drinks complete a flexible menu for both a quick Euston meal and a larger shared dinner.
