Eggslut Shoreditch is an all day breakfast restaurant at 94 Leonard Street. The chef driven concept began in 2011 and treats eggs as the central ingredient rather than limiting them to a conventional morning menu, with food cooked to order for dining in or taking away.
Warm brioche sandwiches combine free range eggs with fillings such as bacon, turkey sausage, smoked salmon, mushrooms or beef. The Fairfax layers soft scrambled eggs with chives, caramelised onions, cheddar and sriracha mayonnaise, while the cheeseburger adds an over medium egg and dijonnaise.
The signature Slut serves a coddled egg over smooth potato purée in a glass jar, finished with grey salt and chives and accompanied by baguette. Truffle rosemary hash browns and a dressed rocket salad give customers crisp or fresh additions to the richer mains.
