Christopher’s is an American restaurant and Martini Bar in a historic listed building on Wellington Street in Covent Garden. Following a recent refurbishment, the venue has reopened for lunch, dinner and brunch with a refreshed dining room and dedicated bar. Its position beside the Lyceum Theatre and close to the Royal Opera House makes it particularly convenient for meals before or after a performance.

The all day selection reinterprets familiar American dishes with seasonal ingredients and polished presentation. Premium steaks include rib eye, sirloin, fillet and Japanese Wagyu, served with sauces such as béarnaise, chimichurri or peppercorn. Wagyu burgers, blackened salmon, lobster, crab cakes, shrimp and lobster macaroni cheese broaden the choice across meat and seafood.

Brunch is another defining part of the restaurant. Brioche French toast is served in fruit and chocolate variations, while buttermilk pancakes, truffle scrambled eggs and avocado on sourdough cover both sweet and savoury preferences. Egg Maryland combines a crab cake with poached egg, spinach and hollandaise, bringing the restaurant’s American seafood identity into the morning and early afternoon menu.

The ground floor Martini Bar serves bespoke martinis, cocktails, mocktails and its own food selection, allowing guests to visit without committing to a full restaurant meal. Two private dining spaces extend the venue: the Club Room offers a self contained lower ground setting, while the Sunset Room overlooks Waterloo Bridge and the surrounding theatre district. Together they support celebrations, corporate gatherings and intimate dinners.
