Delicatessen is a kosher restaurant at 46 Rosslyn Hill in Hampstead. Its cooking is inspired by the rich culinary culture of the Middle East, with a menu that moves from delicate flavours to bold, colourful combinations and places generous hospitality at the centre of the experience.

Dishes are designed to be placed in the middle of the table and shared. This approach encourages diners to build a meal from contrasting tastes and textures, combining fresh vegetables, fragrant herbs, tahini, warming spice and carefully cooked proteins rather than following a rigid sequence of individual courses.

The main selection includes shredded chicken shawarma with white tahini, mashawya salad and amba, as well as chicken musakhan with chickpeas, tahini and sumac onion. Sea bass, lamb chop, short ribs, seared duck and ribeye give the menu further depth, while the mixed grill brings several of those preparations together for a group.

Charred sweet potato, greens and chips can be added around the larger plates. Lemon tartlet, chocolate crémeux, poached pear and ice cream provide a sweet finish, supported by espresso, tea and fresh mint tea in a relaxed Hampstead dining room built around conversation and shared food.
